Seit mehr als 30 Jahren fertigt unser kleines Team von 10 Mitarbeiter hochwertige Seiten-Miststreuer für unsere Kunden. The new roto models
New sizes: from 4.5 to 7.0 m³
The roto models have the same advantages as the high-quality vario basic models. The additional technical precision of the roto is provided by the rotating spreading head, which can be rotated 240° by means of a hydraulic motor. The Gafner roto mounted spreader is ideally suited for spreading on both the right an left sides in demanding terrain. The roto spreader is available in loading volumes of 1.6 m³ bis 4.3 m³ and now there are new ones from 4.5 m³ bis 7.0 m³.
10 000 spreaders sold
The success story of innovative agricultural machinery manufacturer Gafner Streuer, based in Laupen (ZH), just keeps on going. In March 2016, during the company’s 31st year of production, Christian Gafner delivered the 10 000th spreader to a customer in the beautiful Appenzell region, making the firm one of Switzerland’s leading suppliers of agricultural machinery.
Gafner’s engineering and production team is continuously developing new technologies which are perfectly matched to customer needs. These technologies are designed to simplify and rationalize the day-to-day tasks carried out by all Gafner spreader users. The latest innovations, which have attracted widespread attention, are a double-axle large spreader with 12 m3 loading volume and a top speed of 40 km/h, perfect for agricultural contractors; the “Easyclean”, the first fold-out spreader equipped with hinges, allowing the spreader housing to be folded out from the tank for maintenance and service work; and the “Everyday”, a manure spreader which can become a feed carrier, thus transforming a seasonal machine into one for daily use.
Christian Gafner is proud of his team and the company’s dynamic development. His recipe for success is to keep a practical focus on the market; to integrate customer requests on an ongoing basis and continuously incorporate these wishes into manufacturing processes. “This is essential if we are to remain quality leaders and innovators,” he adds.

- Very convenient and safe pasture fence passageway (turnstile system) - permanently hot-dip galvanized.
- The arrangement of the pivot bearing in the inversion tube of the cross prevents the penetration of water and dirt. As a result the device remains fully functional for years.
- The turnstile is protected against being lifted out by animals.
- The three posts form a unit with the bottom linkage. Embedding in concrete is no problem either; it is only necessary to ensure the correct height.

The vario in new sizes
The successful vario spreaders match up to the flexible roto spreader. Types 2.55 to 4.05 vario are now available as 2.56 to 4.06 vario.
The new spreaders have a loading volume of 2.6 to 4.3m3. The vario spreader, the economical alternative for high demands, is extremely robust and well-proven. You can also find further information in the new dimension table, which is available for downloading.

The new, perfected roto spreader from Gafner is the flexible solution for every requirement.
The groundbreaking technical enhancement of the roto lies in the rotating spreading head, which can be rotated a full 240° by means of a hydraulic motor. This means that the flexible spreading head can be used for spreading on both sides.
The robust construction, low own weight and optimal weight distribution, present in all Gafner products, guarantee maximum safety in every terrain.
